General Services
Residential Service. Whether your doors lead to the back yard, pool deck or balcony, Smooth Coast will have them operating so you can grill, let the dogs out or allow the kids to run back and forth. Whether you have a single set of doors or multiple, our Technicians will evaluate, provide you with an estimate for repair and, if you give approval, be prepared to get to work immediately.
Commercial Service. Condominium buildings, hotels, motels, time shares and stores or restaurants. Smooth Coast has the manpower, equipment, skills and most importantly, the experience necessary to complete large or on-going projects. As a professional company, we pride ourselves in being pleasurable to work with and understanding the needs of our commercial customers. We carry all proper insurances and will provide our Certificate of Insurance upon request. Invite Smooth Coast to provide a presentation or repair package during your planning process OR, have us provide bulk evaluations for doors that can be repaired around your guest's stays or visitation.
Water Mitigation. Water. If you've dealt with it, (and are still dealing with it) you already know. Smooth Coast's Water Mitigation program may be what you need. We have pioneered and developed effective techniques to reduce the potential for water intrusion. If you have water intrusion problems related to your sliding glass doors, Smooth Coast may provide the solution.
Individual Door Services
Corrosion Mitigation. It is crucial that corrosion mitigation be performed while doors are being repaired in order to reduce the harmful effects of galvanic corrosion, especially near the coast. The Technician will explain the important steps that Smooth Coast takes to protect your doors for the long term.
Roller Replacement. Sliding glass door mobility comes from rollers. Our extensive inventory allows us to replace damaged or corroded rollers with new rollers, specifically designed for YOUR door. In the event that damage to the door caused by years of corrosion or trauma prevent this, or your doors are currently installed with obsolete mobility hardware, we will install industry acceptable replacement rollers as an alternative, or customize rollers for your specific application.
Track Repair. Damage or corrosion of the track on which your sliding glass doors roll, will prevent the door from rolling smoothly. We provide long term repairs for both common and unique track related problems.
Weather Resisting. Weatherstripping is designed to prevent cool/warm air from entering/escaping your home and to prevent the entry of water and moisture. Over time, weatherstripping will corrode away, tear or disintegrate, which will reduce the efficiency of your door. We do not simply apply cheap “peel and stick weatherstripping" but rather, properly replace the channels with new weatherstripping. In addition, proper caulking of key water entry points help prevent excessive water/air/insects intrusion.
Frame Strength and Integrity. Between hurricane season and regular storms, sliding glass doors must be properly repaired to stand up to high winds! Patio Doors need to be maintained at fasten points to insure durability during such unpredictable times. We address the strength and safety of your patio doors.
Locks/Handles. A full range of locks and handles are available for installation.
Security. Sliding glass doors can be made more secure! A full range of options are available to increase your home's security.
